Handrailing Handrailing for level and sloping applications can be constructed from FastClamps simply and effectively. FastClamps can be assembled into handrailing without any special tools and do not need any on site welding or special bending equipment. FastClamps can be used to build handrailing in several configurations as follows: Level handrailing Handrailing for slopes 30° - 45° Offset handrailing for slopes 0° - 45° Handrailing for slopes using swivel fittings Details of each application can be found by clicking on the titles above. Fabricated Level and Sloping Handrailing Using the FastClamps C26 and C27 cast steel fittings posts can be fabricated at any angle from 0° to 60° to suit the requirements of the job. Special angle fittings for landings and corners can also be fabricated, please call for details. These fittings have the advantage that the midrail and toprail can be continuous and that a rail size different to the post size can be specified. A summary of the fittings recommended to be used for level and sloping applications are shown in Table 1 and Table 2. The maximum spacing of the posts is shown in Table 3. The spacing between centres is based on the maximum bending moment allowed for the tube.
